Un Libro, Mil Mundos (One Book, A Thousand Worlds): Celebrates A Year of Success!

 In a study conducted by the National Endowment for the Arts, they found that teens and young adults read less often and for shorter amounts of time when compared with other age groups. According to the National Endowment for the Arts, “[…] in 2004 NEA reported and identified a critical decline in reading for pleasure among American adults”.

El Día de los Niños/ Día de los Libros (Day of the Child/Day of the Book) was truly a success, with all 33 branches and two bookmobiles within our system joining our seventh annual celebration.
